Re: Raum Map UK

Thanks Rich. This accords with what I had worked out based on what was found in the crash of one of the Ju 88s of I./NJG 2 in July 1941 but what happened to Raum D & E? F would have been beyond the capabilities of few remaining Do 17Z-10 by June 1941 in my opinion, their last loss being in RaumC in May 1941

Re: Raum Map UK

From memory, our map guy and Mikael agreed to create Raum F based on 'best guess' evidence, the map is approximate. I guess the map guy took our instructions literally

Re: Raum Map UK

I have looked at Simon Parry's map. All 3 Raum cover the east coast (logical), Raum A goes as far south as Essex, then west clipping London while Raum C goes much further north. It would be nice to know which is the more accurate!

Re: Raum Map UK

Of interest, some Raum F airfields were:
Upwood
Wells (?)
Marham
Norwich Catton
Bicester
Oxford
Colerne
Feltwell
Leamington
Still no Raum D & E
