416. First flown on 31 March 1944, Me 262 A W.Nr. 130 167 became a Messerschmitt-owned rest aircraft based at its facility at Lechfeld in June of 1944. Designated "V167", it primarily tested at first the Messerschmitt-designed
Wikingerschiff bomb racks with their resulting undercarriage stresses in July 1944.

418. In these two coloured photographs, "V167" is seen in early spring of 1945 at Lechfeld with the melting snow plowed to the side of the runway. Note the looped sensor at the tip of the nose prong.
