Are you sure it was a Hawker Typhoon? Do you have the time when it happened?
A Spitfire was missed after an attack at a railway near Vorden, The Netherlands just after 9.30 and a Spitfire was hit by Flak in the Nijmegen area at about 1235 hrs. Pilot bailed out too late, but I do not know if the plane or the pilot came down near Malden in The Netherlands.
