Hello Dave,
88 was a 'famous' IL-2m3 batch in 1945 from Factory No.18. IL-2 No.1876088 belonged to the 8 VA, 227 ShAD, 208 ShAP and was shot down by enemy fighters on April 16, 1945 at Sammerau-SW, 2 km. Crew of Zhatilkin-Gluhov went missing. But, I think this plane was arrow winged. I have no other records for AC No.60-88. (If your numbers are serials.) Cheers, Gabor (Batch 88 was built in 1944, but these planes saw lots of action still in 1945.)
