Re: Formosa airfields in January 1945
These must be "Cedars" surely? These are JAAF airfields, any JNAF aircraft were temporary reinforcements and operational types to be utilised for attacking the American fleet in late 1944. The need to transfer all aircraft to Formosa as a kamikaze force does not exist until the Spring of 1945. Moving large numbers of biplane trainers to Formosa seems unlikely. Apart from the range of such types. Especially in this instance where all the types are JAAF apart from the Type-93s.
