Hurricane Losses August 1941
A recent eBay sale was for 2 photos of what on the back say "1 Spitfire. August 1941. Le Touquet'. Aircraft was in fact a Hurricane, engine had stopped, crash-landed on the sand dunes and the centre section and fuselage burnt out. Any thoughts as to its identity? Nothing seems to jump out0thought it was Sgt Frank Holt in Z3184 of 3 Sqn on 14 Aug 41 but he was missing Abbeville/Le Touquet

Looks as if it was 17 Aug 41 Z3454 of 242 Sqn shot down at Stella Plage, Cucq by II./JG 2
