Seeking FFAF airman's details
Seeking FFAF Airmans details.
Have name and date of death, but am looking for the Unit he was with Name : CHEVRIERE, a Corporal in the FFAF . Said to have drowned in the river Nile. Thanks Alex |

Alex - I have a book detailing FFAF losses in WW2 - But it may only be aircrew - do you have a date ? Thanks Paul

Found him
June 24, 1942 Corporal Chevričre was the victim of a traffic accident: his car fell into the Nile at Belbeis in Egypt, where he drowned. Albert Chevričre Born January 4, 1920, in Nîmes (Gard), France. Corporal Chevričre joined the Free French Air Forces (FAFL) in July 1940, traveling from Syria to Palestine. “Died for France” while on active duty. Buried in Tel el-Kebir (Egypt). |

His unit is not listed - Others do have unit - but not him
