Does anyone know the identites of any Luftwaffe aircrew that were made use of the Rettungsboje rescue bouys anchored in the English Channel during the Battle of Britian?

I feel certain that Brian Cull asked this before some time ago and the answer was negative. All the reports and accounts I have saw ditched crews getting into dinghies and picked up quickly by a far more advanced ASR service than the RAF had at this time

Thanks Chris,

Before posting I did a search for Rettungsboje, with no results – now I know why!

I thought that possibly Hptm Johann Kogler (1./ZG 26 11 Aug 40) and Hptm Herbert Kaminski (2./ZG 26 18 Aug 40) might have used such things but checking accounts, they were picked up from dinghies
