As Robert noted, icons are not clear and of little help. Also, the ones on the main page do not refresh for some reason. Concerning colours, I think the worsest is the white background which is IMHO rather distracting.
The worsest thing is that the page is self refreshing and unread posts are becoming 'read' marked even if not touched. Anything can be done with it? Otherwise no complaints.
