The Obfw Walter Richter who was awarded the DKiG 17Oct43 with 2./KG 1 was a flugzeugfϋhrer.
There was a Uffz Walther Richter who was awarded the DKiG 27Oct42 with 3./KG 53, this individual was a Bordmechaniker so maybe the EP award relates to him. Best Regards Andy Fletcher
