Modeldad will become famous soon enough
Re: Photos 5-31

Those pictures are virtually identical with only some change in the lvel of contrast. A little manipulation?

BTW, the wing root area looks like it is unpainted metal

Overlay..

Re: Photos 5-31

Well, I believe the writing on the reverse side is identical to the photo for sale (again) - And so is the photo. Attachment is from a previous offer.

Re: Photos 5-31

Please look at the tail, both photos are different.
So we have 2 old original photos taken from the same position
with only little differences. Where is the problem?

Re: Photos 5-31

To be honest I cannot see any differences (please note the hands of the person in cockpit for example). Just two copies from the same negative. Wartime prints or made postwar we will never know.

Well, not much to get exited about really- But if you check out the photo for sale now and compare the writing on the back side with the photo I have posted which is from a previous auction, I believe it is difficult to conclude anything else than they are identical.
One in a billion that the hand writing would be identical on two photos by chance!
Also note that this photo has a number stamped on the back side "146F", probably from the photo lab. Same Number as on the one sold before which I have posted earlier. Other photos from this series showing the same aircraft type has been sold earlier and numbered 144F and 666F.
