Hi Pawel,

in this case you can see that the view is a little bid different.
On the one photos you can see a little bid more of the tail.

Regards,
Sven.

Re: Photos 5-31

I think that we have here two original photos developed from the same negative, but probably made by different developers or at least developed on two different occasions. That would explain the slight difference in the field of view, zoom and colour tones.
The almost identical handwritting on the back indicates that the same person ordered the two photos.

best regards,
Tomislav

Re: Photos 5-31

Gentlemen,
From the dialogue I recognize that some apparently have not taken notice to my posted copy of an earlier auction of the very same photo. I do not want to be educating you or else upsetting anyone, but I would like to finally repeat my arguments on this matter.
1.
The photos I post here as attachments are from two different occasions by the very same seller.
The latest one is named "Beute De 520_DY Posted Again", the other one is consequently the photo sold earlier.
2.
Both photos are identical, even the small damage to the photo seen just in front of the dorsal antenna, about mid-hight, is the same.
3.
The back side have the same, identical, hand writing and comments including the very same number "146 F", possibly identifying the number of the copy made from the negative.

My intention with the posting was a heads up to those collecting photos, not to pay rediculous amounts for photos which are obviously not unique.
Nothing else.

Tried to edit:
Hmm....it seems like I can not upload the earlier auctioned photo again, why I kindly have to ask you to go to my earlier posting (No.5) in order to see the photo sold earlier.

Re: Photos 5-31

F19Gladiator,

please tell us the auction numbers so we can check it out by ourself.
If the seller pushed this photo to get a better amount we can see the
first winner of the photo. I think that's it what you want to tell us. But
please give both numbers. 2 attachments are not enough because that's
no evidence. I don't want to accuse him without proofing.

I do not accuse anyone , I only post a heads up not to pay too much for photos sold multiple times. Seems like the forum tech makes it difficult to upload multiple images. Why I again post the earlier auctioned photo as already in post No.5.
I do unfortunately not keep a detailed ledger with ebay links, dates the photos were auctioned etc, why I can not help you with this info. I only have my own systen making it able to trace and identify photos for my own research need.

I have posted two attachments of the same photo from two different auction occasions, with the sellers banner over the swastika differently placed and angled as the only difference. The simultaineously posted reverse sides being identical to 100%. I believe viewers can draw their own conclusions, even if the "evidence" might not hold in a criminal investigation, but this has never been my intention.

I will now walk on into greener fields, looking for new and for me interesting photos. Please excuse me for occupying so much space on this thread.

And.....GREAT THANKS to Ed who is so kind to post all the links for us! Very helpful for a time pressed hobbyist like me!

Re: Photos 5-31

Maybe I can shed some light on this.

Apparantly some sellers don't want to deal with Sudek13.

I don't believe that under the Ebay rules a seller can refuse to sell a photo to a certain person if that person is the only bidder, but apparantly when more persons have bidded on the item the seller can refuse to sell the photo to the highest bidder for personnal reasons and give the second highest bidder a second chance to buy the photo for his maximum bid.

I deduct this from the fact that I was given a second chance to buy a photo which I lost to Sudek13 and I don't believe the seller did this because Sudek13 withdraw his bid or that the seller don't believe Sudek13 is a serious bidder and therefore not reliable to pay the item.

Kind Regards,
Jan
