Hi Peter,
this could be real. There is a rather grainy print of an in-flight "Me 323 E-3" on page 37 of "Messerschmitt ME 321/323 Giants of the Luftwaffe", by H. Dabrowski. It appears to have the code QU+PD or QU+PO under the wings (I'd bet on the former). Your reference may be another in this sequence. Cheers GrahamB
