Re: 206sqdn Hudson

Hi John

There is some coverage of 62 Squadron Hudsons and those used by the RAAF in my co-authored 'Bloody Shambles'. I also have a copy of 'War without Glory' which covers RAAF Hudsons in the early days.

Cheers
Brian

Hi John

I'm afraid my books are mostly words and not many pix.

Cheers

Re: 206sqdn Hudson

John,

This image suggests that at one time one wing was black. Maybe when leaving this practise they'd refrain from repainting the aileron for fair of changing the balance with too much paint.

Here are some scans from various books:

Re: 206sqdn Hudson

John,

There are quite a few pictures of white painted Hudson from Gibraltar, I think they were 206 Sqn, on Postlethwaites www.ww2images.com. You have to pay of course, but the database is quite big.
Here are some more from my collection. Notice the orange triangle on the dutch bird.
