Re: Hungarian Bf 110G-4
Denes
What is your source please of the 14 Bf110G delivered? Also why would the Hungarians give the Bf 110E serialnumbers following right after a batch of 50 Bf 109E? Are we sure V-951 to 956 are not cancelled 109E? Cheers Stig |

Re: Hungarian Bf 110G-4
The Hungarian Squadron did not receive 14 new SN-2 equipped planes (and even used less, that the mentioned 12)

Re: Hungarian Bf 110G-4
You're right about the radar equipment of the Romanian Bf 110s, Csaba. Somewhere I have a poor quality photo of a force-landed Romanian Bf 110 with FuG 202 antennas.
Thank you for the other information. All the best, George |

Re: Hungarian Bf 110G-4
As I said: "There were a total of 14 Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4s in the MKHL, delivered as night fighters during late 1944/early 1945." This, of course, doesn't necessarily mean all of them ended up in active service within the Hungarian night fighter squadron, as some could have been lost en-route, following acceptance, or before being impressed into active duty (e.g, due to bombing or strafing of airfields). The figures are based on German delivery documents.
