Thumbs up Me-109 crash in the Overpelt area ( Belgium )

Hello ,

It seems that a Me-109 came down in the neightbourhood of the town of Overpelt ( Province Limburg in Belgium ) on september 11th 1944.Can someone identify this aircraft and his pilot.

Hello Alain

I have a name for this supposed A/C but without any other details
Fhr Andersen Kurt (KIA)
He was burried there but since 1948 he is at Lommel

JG77 ?, why not, losses are reported in this area, 5 in total 3 are documented Heerlen, Aachen Eupen, for 2 hv no details just Bf109g-14 100 %, the I. group is concerned

Hi.

The Jagdwaffe reported close to 100 (99 to be precise) aircraft damaged or lost due to enemy action in the air on this date. And as a lot of the units mentioned operated in the defense of the reich role in the general area, I guess one has to start ruling them out one by one to find a list of suspects.
