..there is more coverage of 10./JG 300 in Volume II - although most of Jorg Czypionka's contribution appears in the French edition only..

Hi Neil,

I'm sure there's a good reason why the English editions don't contain all the material found in the French ones -- could you please tell us why?

I'd also be interested in the differences between the French and upcoming English editions of Eric Mombeek's volumes on JG 2 and JG 4.

Thanks,
Leon Venter

... there was a certain amount of repetition and overlap between the various accounts..as I recall Cyzpionka's doesn't add anything to Mitterdorfer's long piece..
..as to the second question...I don't know what the final English versions will look like yet ..sorry

Re: JG 300 Wilde sau..vol 1

as Neil has said there is some excellent compilation of the 10th Nacht staffel origins before the transfer and make up of II./NJG 11. We will cover Mitty and Georgs story in more full length with some very interesting details of them, the men in the staffel and of course MR. Stealth Kurt W., and yes we have a pic of Kurts 109 besides Fw's

in any case go pick up the JG 300 volumes

Thanks for the quick response. I already have both the JG 300 volumes in English, so I'm glad I won't have to buy the French ones too!

Not a problem. If you happen to receive any updates on Eric's JG 2 and JG 4 volumes in English, we'd greatly appreciate it if you could pass them along.

Regards,
