Hi Bob,
Sorry for the late reply. I am heading Research Group Grove, who are conduction a through survey of Fligerhorst Grove, the most heavily fortified airfield built by the Luftwaffe during WW II. Please see: http://www.gyges.dk/fliegerhorst_grove.htm Aircraft archeology is not our main task, but when we came across this, we simply could not help ourselves. We also found parts of MG81s (breach-block, trigger and sight) and multiple ammo-links for 7.92 mm, 13 mm and 20 mm ammo. bregds SES Last edited by SES; 29th April 2012 at 07:56.
