Many squadron leaders survived...as I was on the "Japanese Panel" in the 1991 Pearl Harbor Symposium with two Buntaicho.... Zenji Abe (Akagi D3A second-in-command) and Hirata Matsumura (Hiryu torpedo B5N leader and secon-in-command of the torpedo attack)...Both of whom have passed away in the past few years.

My list of the 765 Japanese participants is in Japanese. Of these, onlly 150 lived thru the war...and about 30 still live.
