Sorry David, as I said in my post, the surviving KTB is for part of 1945 only. I have nothing at all about the Battle of France, I'm afraid: 1944–45 is my thing.

Congratulations on your NAG 1 piece. Great detail!
As Kari said, the War Diary of the General der Auklärungsflieger is a very promising source. Did you come across any references to seaplane units?
I believe they were subordinated to this command from the middle of 1944.

In the Appendics on GrpKdr. and StaffelKptn. all units including seefliegerunits under his command is mentioned! Date 06.03.1945.
