Posted:09 May 2005 20:43 Posted: 09 May 2005 20:43According Rakov's and Kalinichenko's memoirs, and Tzupko's book, his navigator in this mission was a flag navigator of regiment Captain Sergey Stepanovich Davidov, old Rakov's companion, which also became HSU after sinking of Niobe. In memoirs Rakov calls him "my faithful navigator". The chief of regimental signal service Lieutenant Vasiliy Mihailovich Kostromcov was a rear gunner.
