Difficult to see. Is it a top hat? Would have thought the location (buildings) are more important to the location. Does the buildings indicate Herdla. Will have to have a look in Mombeek's book. Summer 1941 JG54 were re-equipping with the F model and it is known a number of E models of JG54 ended up with JG77/JG5. As Kjetil says, nice photo. regards MS
