Re: Info about TGr/186 Bf109e's may 1940

Hi,

Olt.Lorenz Weber was Staka 5(T)/186 from the 10.05.40.
The victories that you listed are completely wrong - Jochen Prien lists only one kill of Emmerich - this on the 06.05.40 BTW it was Beuafort from the 22 Sqn L4464 or L4518.
There are many photos of 5(T)/186 planes but which one belonged to Emmerich?

Regards

Robert

No he wasn't (I think you have missed a '0' off the '3'). Otto Hintze was Staka of 3./210 until he was shot down on 29th October 1940. Emmerich then became Staka.

Emmerich survived the war, but wasn't particularly interested in discussing his war career. Disappointing for me, as he could have added quite a bit about 3./210 during the BoB...

@Peter,

I just discovered that my information about Uffz.F.Moeller was completely wrong. He was member of the 2/JG77 and crashed during the landing at Cologne-Wahn. Sorry for commotion.

Regards

Robert

Re: Info about TGr/186 Bf109e's may 1940

Aloha

What about my second wave of questions about TGr 186???? Will you show your pictures, will you tell me what part of the claim/victorylist downloadable on warbirdresourcegroup is false? Who piloted the white 12 aircraft attached in this thread? Who piloted white 15, crashed in june 1940 in Norway?
Or are you just mentioning you have the information and you will not share it?

Re: Info about TGr/186 Bf109e's may 1940

Groeten,

some photos could be found in following books:
- Jochen Prien "JG77" Part I
- Jochen Prien "Jagdfliegerverbaende Teil 2"
- Jochen Prien 'Jagdfliegerverbaende Teil 3"
- "Fighters over Low Countries and France" by Mushroom Publication
- "Jagdwaffe Colors" by Classic Publication
The correct victory list was published in Jochen Prien`s books
I don`t know the pilots of white 12 or 15.

Regards

Robert
