Strictly speaking, Manor Farm at Chidham is not exactly "marshland". However, it is very low lying and the field your Hurricane fell into borders the Channel and mud flats between Chidham and Thorney Island. I see that we recovered your machine in July 1976. Blimey! Thirty six years between the event and our recovery. Thirty two years between the recovery and today. Time flies.
