Hello!

The only museum at the metropolitan area is the Finnish Aviation Museum at Vantaa near the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

Other aviation museums can be found from Halli, Kotka, Vesivehmaa, Lappeenranta and Jyväskylä / Tikkakoski.

The Hallinportti Aviation Museum is located north of Helsinki near the city of Tampere, c. 250 km from Helsinki. The museum is open daily at Summer from 1 pm to 5 pm on Monday to Friday and from 12 am to 6 pm on weekends.

The museum at Kotka is open from 10 am to 6 pm. It's situated at the Kymi airfield about 150 km from Helsinki.

Another aviation museum near the city of Helsinki is at Vesivehmaa, near the city of Lahti, c. 130 km from Helsinki. From 12 am to 6 pm, "open almost every evening during June / July".

The museum at Lappeenranta is open from 2th June to 15th September between 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday. About 250 km from Helsinki.

The largest and the best aviation musem in Finland is near the city of Jyväskylä at Tikkakoski. Circa 300 km from Helsinki.

Museum open every day incl. week-ends (except Christmas week, 31.12, 1.1. and 22.-23.6.):
Between June 1st and August 15th:
10.00 am - 8.00 pm (10.00 - 20.00)

Between August 16th and May 31st:
11.00 am - 5.00 pm (11.00-17.00).
