Düttman seems to have been technically oriented and gives many interesting details. Amongst them reason and solution(!) for the 30 mm (MK 108) cannon jamming problem.

And, what were the solutions to the jamming problem of the MK 108? Apparently the early ones occasionally blew apart, with the breech block blowing backwards through the rear of the weapon. This was mentioned in a comment about the MK 108 by a night-fighter unit.
