It's not good that you steel scans, made by other people
to publish them again in this forum! Did you ask the people
who made the scans originally? I hope so...

These links are in free access for everybody... so, I don't understand what you try to let me understand. You are able to find them by yourself too.

Re: Photos 06-18

Hi,
I sincerely appreciate your ambition to share these internet auction photos with us. It would be even better to have the auction link posted instead of only the photo link for convenience of checking if the site contains some additional information. It does for example happen there is a scan of the reverse side of the photo with interesting information, or info from the seller, helping in identifying the photo.
Sometimes the auction also contains other photos worth following up - not only Luftwaffe but also Wehrmacht, Kriegsmarine etc.
Cheers
Goran

Re: Photos 06-18

...and sometimes we all laugh when they describe their pictures completely wrong.

The second Bf 109 on this photo:
http://freenet-homepage.de/ha-ce/me109_007.jpg
has really interesting 'nose-art' on engine cowling - does anybody know something more about this plane?

Best regards,
Maciej

Re: Photos 06-18

Hi,

it`s from stab I(J)/LG2 flown by unit`s CO Hptm.Hans Truebenbach. The photo was probably taken in Lauenburg (or Lottin) in September 1939.

Regards

Robert

Hi,
Both the photo referred to as well aa a close-up of the 'Max und Moritz' motif on the cowling is published on p.428 in 'Die Jagdfliegerverbände der Deutschen Luftwaffe 1934-1945, Teil 1', Prien et al.

Hey ParabellumMany thanks for supplementing edwests work, both what you guys do are really appreciated. :-) :-)However I would like to second Goran's request that you publish the full eBay addy rather than a shortcut to the picture. Keep up the hard work!
