Many, many thanks. This is exactly the kind of information that interests me. As for MM682, according to the records I have this was an NF XIX iniaitally issued to R.A.E. and then used by the Fighter Interception Development Squadron (code ZQ). It was subsequently sold to Sweden post-war. By the way, I highly recommend this website if you don't already know of it: www.mossie.org. Lots of info on the Mosquito including a complete list of serial numbers showing unit allocations and loss details. Best wishes, Tom |
