Mike,
He was shot down pretty far from Budapest (more, than 120 km). Peter, I have a long reminiscence of him, if you are interested in. He was shot down by the gunners of the II./ZG 76.

you hit the point  ZG 76, I came to the same result putting pieces of mosaic together..that is why I am very interested what you can add. U know my email. PLEASE!I have the MACR ...and 31.FG NMR for that day. THANKS!!
