Luftwaffe Colours 1935-1945 by Michael Ullmann (2nd Edition)
Amazon lists second edition of the well known Ullmann's "Luftwaffe Colours". Do you have any ideas what's new in this edition? Any changes or just reissue?

Re: Luftwaffe Colours 1935-1945 by Michael Ullmann (2nd Edition)
IIRC this is just a reprint of the Hikoki version. (This will be the 4th edition of this book: 1st manuscript of the author (1998), german edition by Bernard und Graefe Verlag (2000), Hikoki (2002))

Re: Luftwaffe Colours 1935-1945 by Michael Ullmann (2nd Edition)
I don't have the original so I can't offer a comparison. However, I saw a copy of the new one in London last week and the copyright notice says something to the effect of "revised 2008."

Re: Luftwaffe Colours 1935-1945 by Michael Ullmann (2nd Edition)
I've got the Hikoki 1st issue and received the Crecy version yesterday and on first glance, not much (if anything?) new has been added. The increase in page numbers (256 versus 360) can be put down to some larger images, an increase in text size, some larger colour profiles and poor use of paragraphs...

Re: Luftwaffe Colours 1935-1945 by Michael Ullmann (2nd Edition)
Here is a review (mixed with others, scroll down) at Stone & Stone books. The tone is a bit off-putting in that the reviewers, I think, should be more understanding of such a specialist book. Instead, they seem to hint that it should have had a more mass market approach/appeal.

Thank you Leon for taking your time to give this very useful overview of the different editions! Quite useful.
