Message to Chris Goss
Hello Chris,
Apparently you know a lot concerning Jg/2 that's why I call you. During spring or summer 1943, (sorry but I don't know an exactly date) a Me-109 crashed at Canappeville in Normandy (10 km north of Evreux). Eyewitnesses said that the pilot died and recovered by germans ground. However I don't arrive to find the story of this pilot and this aircraft (werk nummer...). I would like very much to put a name on this pilot to remember him. Apparently, this aircraft was in Jg/2 airforce. There had been only one aircraft crashed at Canappeville during the war.
