There are several possibilities but we need more information.

Re: 2.SKG10

I have the following:

Oblt Kurt KLAHN + 16 Apr 43
Oblt Paul ANTWERPEN (?) + 18 May 43
Hptm Kurt DAHLMANN 11 Jun 43-28 Oct 43 (to Gr Kdr I/SKG 10)
Oblt RICHTER to Jun 44
Oblt Karl-Heinz STÜRMER Jun 44-+ 1 Sep 44
Oblt Rudolf WAGNER Sep 44-end

Where did you get the name Erich Richter and the exact date of 7 June?

Re: 2.SKG10

Hello Chris,

Name come from Ultra, date is 7.june 44, says Oblt Erich Richter appointed to the command of 2.SKG10.
My question is, is he among the victims of the losses occured the 6 nd 7.june a Yellow7+White 1 thus no 2.staffel there

Re: 2.SKG10

I do not have him as a casualty hence I did not have his christian name. If, as you say, he was appointed St Kap on 7 Jun 44, this contradicts what I have as him taking over from Dahlmann in Oct 43. Are you sure it was appointed or perhaps was it relieved following the Allied invasion?

Re: 2.SKG10

Remi: Can you send me a scan of the relevant paragraph? Richter's name came up in another document (K Report I think) as St Kap prior to Jun 44 and STÜRMER, a more experienced pilot, taking over before he was killed

Re: 2.SKG10

Interesting. Richter's name is mentioned but other records have him already being St Kap as there were no officer losses before that would indicate him being a replacement. I do have a photo of him with the other two St Kap & the Gr Kdr. As to Uffz Friedrich Kauntz, he was with 2/SKG 10 but there are no other records that indicate him being lost on 7 Jun 44. He survived the war and lived in Venezuela. He states that he was shot down 3 times but there is no way of matching this with losses as there are no NVMs as he was unwounded. A FW 190 was lost in an accident 7 Jun 44 during a combat mission and another the following night (and another damaged) but no details or pilot names due to being unwounded
