Hello!

Thank you for the response. It doesn't solve the research problem but adds interesting additional piece of info. If this is the same Staffehl he may have been promoted to Oblt because of his achievents in the 1./KGr 506 Sonderkommando. At least partly.

Well. IIRC the KGr 506 KTB writes the name as Desamarie. I got some extra info for him from a colleague:

"Leutnant zur See Kurt Desamarie
III/KG 26
+29.7.1942 bei Leiden"
