In Polish it might be treble, but in German it is Drillinge!

A superb collection Robert, especially where you have the complete Waffenkoffer with paperwork and 'accessories'. I have only ever seen one of these weapons and that was approximately twelve years ago, without any of it's bits and pieces!

I am sure that there are many LW enthusiasts out there who never knew about these until you introduced the subject here. Any chance of readable close-ups of any labels or loose paperwork?

Regards,

David

Sauer&Sohn are still in bussiness. The "Drilling" is one of the famest German Huntingweapon and was also the service Rifle by most of the German Forrest Officals (German word: Förster). And, Hermann was also "Reichsjägermeister".
