There used to be a Aviation Museum at Blake Hall (former Ops Room for North Weald ), search under Blake Hall Aviation Museum and there is a current address. Perhaps they or the North Weald Museum has some more on this one.
Additionally if you live near Chelmsford the Essex Records office in Wharf Road has on microfilm file T/A 679 which is Essex Police Log of wartime events which includes details of Aircraft Crashes .
