Plane was used in 1943 and had green painting on the top and russian blue below. Except "white 1" located on the rudder, plane had inscription along fuselage (over te red star):

"Smiert niemietskim okkupantam"- (eng.) "Death To German Invaders"

Re: Pe-2

there is a very famous Il-2 with 'Smert Fashistkim Okkupantam' (die fascist occupiers)on it ,but this is the first I have heard of an inscription like that on a Pe-2.(this would be very interesting to see)if you do not have a photo then what are you basing this on?artwork profile? (often inaccurate)pilot's recollection?if you have a profile , then can you upload it or provide a link?

Re: Pe-2

ah! that looks like the instructions from a UM Pe-2 kit.
(I have 101 and 109)

although some early series Pe-2's had a simple green upper-surface scheme, by 1943 the two and three color upper-surface schemes were the normal camoflage.

the following green/black scheme was popular on the Pe-2 and can be seen on machines as late as June 1944.

this next scheme uses AMT colors and follows the NKAP template issued on July 3 rd 1943.
