Dietrich Puetter
Can anyone provide me with more details about this former pilot. I'm looking for his squadron, location of where he went missing and date he was shot down. I recently read a little bit about his pow experiences. He was a bomber pilot and was shot down in Russia. He was a pow from 1942-1949.

We have no such name in our officer career files either. No Dietrich Poetter either.
Any alternative spellings for us to try ? LdZ DGS

Our personnel compilations only deal with those who either held a command, a staff position or a rank of Hptm. or higher. If this fellow was a pilot, he could very easily not fit into our criteria for inclusion.
The Kracker data-base: http://aircrewremembrancesociety.com...erArchive.html which covers all aircrew personnel regardless of rank but has no Puetter. This fellow remains a mystery! LdZ DGS
