Re: B-24 liberator crash-landing near Orleans (489th BG)

Good evening Franck & Alex !

The Mighty Eight Combat Chronology does also note a B-24 s/n 42-94817,
markings "+A" of 489th BG, 846th BS on this September 1st, 1944 as
FTR LOC (Failed to Return, loss occured behind "friendly lines").
It is also noticed, that this a/c was salvaged from November 14th, 1944 on.

By the way, on my believe, this a/c is the candidate.
