Spitfire QV-F from 19 Sqn
Recently there were several good photographs on e-bay showing a crashed Spitfire I or II (QV-F) from the 19 Squadron. I guess this aircraft was shot down after November 1940 because she has the Sky band on the rear fuselage. I think the photograph was taken during Spring or Summer 1941 when seeing the light uniforms of the Germans and the greens of the plants and trees. Somebody can tell me when this aircraft crashed and who was the pilot ? Unfortunately the serial isn't readable because it is partially overpainted.
