Pilot Identification

Hi all-

I am wondering if anyone might know who this pilot is in a/c number 213. The a/c belongs to VMF-222~Flying Deuces~ and photo was taken in the Philippine Islands during the Pacific.

Thanks in advance

Re: Pilot Identification

Don't know the pilot ( they probably flew what was available) but the badge on the cowling is the SEABEES' ( Construction Battalions) they built most of their airfields.
