Re: First Me 262 for KG 54?
Hi.
According to the information from the source mentioned above, the first Me 262 allocated to KG 54 is listed for 22.09.1944. Five more is listed for September 23rd. The 'Flugzeugbestand und Bewegungsmeldung' for the unit also state that I. Gruppe got 5 Me 262's in September 1944. So the first ones delivered must have been sometime between 22nd September and the end of September. Regards, Andreas B

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!
