Karl Rammelt 23 December 1944
Hello to all,
On 23 December 1944 this German ace was wounded and baled out (of his Bf 109 G-14 WNr 780887). In this battle he claimed his 46th and last victory (a B-24) as his wounds were serious enough to end his WWII career. The only location I have for these events is "over Hungary" and I would like to know the location of the loss of this fighter. Thanks in advance Laurent |

Interestingly, there were no B-24 losses reported by the 15th AF except a 885th Sq (Special Ops) B-24 lost in Yugoslavia?
