In 8th FC at least Blakeslee did the same, IIRC it is estimated that he flew appr. 500 sorties. And from Your message we see that Beamont flew appr. as many. So highest number of combat sorties flown by RAF/RAAF etc fighter jockey was at least appr. 500.

And again as a proud owner of a copy of 'Typhoon and Tempest Story' I can say that it is excellent book.
