One of the tradegies of the Carganico family is that General Victior Carganico Horst's father and WWI hero was executed by the soviets whilst in captivity in 1945. http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/walkar...0132/10132.htm
I believe another Carganico went on to become Major General in the post war Bundeswehr. Chris
