Re: Help for Identification Type of Aircraft

Dan,
thanks a lot.
I have to admit I made a tyoing error. The numer is definitely
DoN 761/1
7475 3115.4.
So perhaps it is a Do 217 N.
In "my" case only one flyer was killed. So I don't think it is the plane you mentioned.
But I'm still interested to know whether its definitely a DO 217.
Thanks in advance
Rolf

Re: Help for Identification Type of Aircraft

Hi
So, it's one Do 217 Nachtjaeger,
THe second plane certainly one Fw, if you found Fw parts
now we need to found when it's arrived .

Not, easy, HQ datas about 1944 are missed in Bama for 1944.

I'm no surprise for the Do 217 crash am 26.3.43 not your plane, time no good, it's sud and no north, and we have one alone aircraft .

We searching 2 aircrafts "suzammen"

Bsrg, dan

Re: Help for Identification Type of Aircraft

Yesterday I visitid the place of crash again and found another ineresting part (I hope).
I could imagine, it is a frame of a small round window. Can somebody confirm?
Can somebody read the letters?
Thanks

Re: Help for Identification Type of Aircraft

8-217.511-76H01 as it seems. Points to a Dornier Do 217.

Regards

Roland
