Re: KG4 Losses 8/9.8.40

2./KG30 8 April 1941. Ju88A-5 4D+KK wnr. 0541.. Uffz Helmut Öwich (FF), Gefr. Hans Holaseck (BO), Gefr. Sebastian Daigele (BF), Gefr. Werner Lück (HS). Luftwaffe Loss Returns for 8 April 1941 show this aircraft has having ditched east of Humber (exact location not stated) due to engine problems. All crew missing.

Incidentally, my crew list for 9 August 1940 He.111H-4 is Schmidt Ebald, Geisdorf and Soffel - as per Laurent's list.

Re: KG4 Losses 8/9.8.40

I have found Gefr. Herbert Hebeld, born 29.07.1918, died 10.08.1940, buried at Westerland/Sylt, block II Grab 50.
Is this the same Gefr. Hebeld from 2/KG4 crashed on 09/10.08.1940?
