Mark,

Do 217M-11 WNr. 723040 KF+JN used most probably before by Erprobungsstelle Karlshagen for Fritz X trials became repainted with British roundels for shipment to the UK. But was later scrapped on site.

No 3. not G-1, rather G-6 if that Jumo 213 lying in front belonged to it.

Hi Merlin

Post 12 - Is it possible that the Stkz is in the KE+J series rather than the KF+J series

Regards
Tom

Tom,

KE+JA to KE+JD were the first four Do 217K-0 aircraft.

Re: New 1945 Flensburg-Weiche pictures

Hi Merlin

Thanks for this - I do have these listed but there appears to be issues here with Stkz blocks for this.
I have also 4401 to 4426 as RD+JA to RD+JZ
I have other types in the KF+J series hence my question as to whether this block from 72.3001 to 72.3026 should be in the KE+J series. All of references I have to the Stkz being KF+JN the photos do not clearly show the full Stkz the E or F is unclear.

Regards
Tom

Oops sorry Ed. Looked at the nose and immediately went to He-177 without looking at post

Thanks Merlin.
