Re: Me 210 lost in Pommern need help.

Hi Remi,
Thanks,
The plane is identified as the Me 210
Shot down by AA, probably in February or March 1945
The area Rathentin 60 km., Northeast of Landsberg, 50 km to the south of Arnswalde.
The plane was flying from the airport probably Schneidemuhl
Best Regards,
Jarek

Re: Me 210 lost in Pommern need help.

Hi all,
I found on the two pieces of metal plates written numbers. The numbers were probably painted 3116 Can it be WNr? Or perhaps the sheet supplier? Surely these are elements from Me 210
Best regards,
Jarek

Re: Me 210 lost in Pommern need help.

Hi Jarek.
3116 is the aluminium material Grade stencilled or printed on the sheet to identify its hardness etc.
Best Regards
Edward

Re: Me 210 lost in Pommern need help.

In the available Luft.GQM lists for 1945 two Me210's of the Hungarian Fast Bomber Group are show with minor damage at Lesvar airfield. If this aircraft was a Me210 is there the slightest possibility that a Hungarian 210 could have been lost in the Pommern area ?
