Re: Luftwaffe Graves UK

As far as I am aware there are ten Luftwaffe graves in England that have been officially confirmed by the Deutsche Dienststelle that are still awaiting named headstones, the VDK very short of funds, so if anyone is feeling benevolent, pick a grave.

Re: Luftwaffe Graves UK

Thanks for that Joe, wish I could help but I am still searching for a job, so my funds are very slim to say the least. Hopefully some of our forum members might have a few pounds spare that they could share for the graves of our former enemies.

How would you go about that?

All the best

Joe,

Thanks for this. I was not aware that Lt Beubler and Uffz Fischer of I./KG66 (the unit I'm investigating) had their graves at Hull Northern Cemetery, not to mention the fact that they don't even have a headstone...(Wonder why their relatives - if they have any, of course - couldn't help out here..) BTW, do you know where the other members of Beubler's crew (Beobachter Uffz Heinz Urban and Bordschütze Uffz Erwin Pausch) were buried?

Regards,

Marcel
