Two of the casualties were civilian:
Georges Henry Davis, aged 37, died on the day of the attack
Home Guard. Son of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Davis, of 266 Barrack Road, Christchurch, Hampshire; husband of Gladys Eva Davis, of Heather Lodge, Lower Enfield Road, Christchurch. Injured at Poole Iron Foundry, Thames Street; died same day at Cornelia Hospital, Longfleet Road.
14-year olf William John Matthews died the next day
Son of William George and Frances Matthews, of Walton Cottage, Wimborne Road, Oakdale. Injured 16 December 1942, at Poole Foundry; died at Cornelia Hospital, Longfleet Road.
